Scripture: Luke 23:32-34

Jesus’ first words from the cross, “Father, forgive them,” exemplify divine forgiveness and redemption. Despite betrayal and suffering, Jesus chose love over retaliation, offering a model for us to forgive others. Experiencing and extending God’s forgiveness leads to freedom and peace, breaking cycles of hurt and bitterness.
